Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after 12 months of regular, unprotected intercourse (6 months if the woman is over 35). Causes may be male, female or combined — including ovulatory disorders, tubal blockage, uterine conditions, low sperm count or motility, hormonal imbalances and lifestyle factors. At Stree Vaidya we offer an integrative Ayurvedic approach that addresses root causes, strengthens reproductive tissues, and prepares the body for conception.
Infertility has multiple causes. A thorough assessment guides a targeted treatment plan.
Causes include ovulatory dysfunction (PCOS/PCOD), tubal pathology, endometriosis, uterine abnormalities, low ovarian reserve, male factor (sperm quality), thyroid dysfunction, and metabolic or immunological issues. Our evaluation includes detailed history, physical exam, hormone tests, ultrasound, semen analysis and other investigations as indicated.
We combine systemic rejuvenation, targeted therapies and lifestyle optimisation to improve conception chances.
Response times vary by cause and age. Some couples achieve conception within 3–6 months of dedicated therapy; others — especially with complex factors or advanced maternal age — may need longer or combined approaches with assisted reproduction. We focus on maximising natural conception chances and optimising outcomes for any assisted treatments.
Optimise fertility with targeted diet, sleep, movement and stress management.
Practical answers about assessment, timelines and how Ayurveda supports fertility.
Couples under 35 should seek evaluation after 12 months of trying; those over 35 or with known risk factors should seek help after 6 months. Early assessment helps identify treatable issues and improves outcomes.
Ayurvedic preconception care can improve endometrial receptivity, reduce inflammation and optimise systemic health, which may improve success rates of assisted reproduction when used as adjunctive therapy.
Yes. Male factor infertility is a common cause and we offer targeted herbal support, lifestyle modifications and counselling to improve sperm quality along with necessary investigations and referrals.
Yes — baseline investigations (hormone profile, ultrasound, semen analysis) help us personalise treatment and monitor progress. We coordinate testing and work with your existing reports.
Often yes, but coordination with your fertility specialist is important. We design supportive Ayurvedic protocols that are safe alongside ART, or we provide standalone regimens when appropriate.
